"I have this controller paired with two Numark TTX turntables. I'm coming from an Akai APC40 MK2 Ableton setup. This is an amazing upgrade and really solidly built piece of equipment. The displays live up to their promise and allow the focus back on the equipment where it should be. The effects units work great, and paired with the tactile feel of the turntables (for legacy vinyl and the DVS system) it makes for an intuitive workflow that makes performing lots of fun. I recommend strongly and Matias was very helpful pre-purchase so we need to support DJ Tech Tools. "

That being said, the S8 is a beast of a controller. I have only used it for a day, but I have been using an S4 for 4 years, and a DVS setup before that. This has a little of a learning curve because of the way the layout is done. but NI is forward thinking and I will follow their Ethos on DJing. I will hammer this device for the next few days until I can feel natural on its setup. But so far, very pleased. Thank you NI and DJTT"

"The perfect controller is the one that minimizes the barrier between the mix you imagine in your head, and the one that comes out of the speakers. For me, this is as close to a perfect controller as I've found so far. The workflow is extremely intuitive and takes a lot of powerful features out of your laptop and puts them somewhere they can be easily accessed with the push of a couple buttons. In my case, that means I am far more likely to use these features, helping me take my mix to the next level. Because of how intuitive this controller is for a Traktor workflow, I've had a lot more FUN mixing with this than any of my previous controllers. I feel more like I'm playing an instrument and less like I'm navigating a maze of menus, options, and secondary button functions (with my VCI-100 and custom mappings, I always had to keep a key map printed out for reference). This is a solid piece of equipment that feels like it can stand up to the beating that an enthusiastic DJ set can dish out so I have high hopes for its longevity and don't feel bad slamming on the pads and faders. Lastly, a huge shout out to the DJTT team for answering all my questions ahead of purchase, being extremely fast to ship, adding extras like the tutorial videos (I've gone through them twice now), and still keeping their price extremely competitive. Buying this item from you guys was a no-brainer and also made me feel good about supporting the community that's kept me educated for years now! "
