Comfortable Carrying

The straps and bag are reinforced not only for a long-lasting bag that will survive gig after gig, but also to make sure that even a heavy load is easy on your back. The bag also has a stand-up design to keep it from falling over when resting on the ground.

Room For Everything

The Controllerist bag is surprisingly large. We've even fit the Kontrol Z2 mixer in ours in a pinch. The front + main pockets offer plenty of room for sound cards, controllers, and accessories. The dedicated controller sleeve holds a S2 / Push sized unit.

Laptop Love

Safely store your laptop in its own separate side-access zipper pocket. The pocket it neoprene lined and makes it much easier to remove just your laptop at airport security or at a gig.

"I luv my Backpack V2, I live in NYC(Bx) and I've been using it since it came in 2-day priority delivery. It's rugged enough for subways and the padding lined for the back is ultra comfortable. It fits my Push, Macbook, headphones, wires and Akai mpkmini nice and snug."

"It's a good bag, and has allowed me to keep gigging out of a single backpack. However, my brand new $4300 MacBook Pro has now hit the ground twice due to me not realizing that the side wasn't zipped out. I realize it is my fault, but this couldn't happen with a traditional top-entry backpack. Maybe make the zipper handle white so it's position is more noticing? Frankly, I can live with my $300 S2 MK3 hitting the ground than a laptop that costs more than 10x as much."

"It's everything I needed it to be. Holds my entire small gig setup like a champ. Would like a bigger one that can house a Roland DJ 808 or one of the bigger ones. Haven't seen any on the market like that!"

"Overview - A solid gig bag but was surprised in a few aspects, namely: lack of space for my kit, no adjustable straps, weak feeling carry handle. My kit is the following - Kontrol S2, Decksaver, 15in laptop, headphones, Hercules laptop stand, and of course the required cables. In order to be able to close the bag and have it snap I have to not store my stand or headphones in the bag; the headphones can fit if I just let the bag be loosely closed via velcro on the flap, the stand can't go in or the above isn't possible. Without the Desksaver I'd be worried about pressure on the pots and stems of the knobs, especially depending on how you load the bag. It will allow for my kit to fit however, but the peace of mind is more worthwhile. The carry handle also feels small when carrying a full load, and the bags lack of adjustment for the straps means it can sit pretty far down your back. I like the internal layout of the bag, and for the price it's a good buy. If you've got a similar sized setup and a bit more cash the Magma Digi Control XL will hold all the above, as well as allow for adjustable straps, if you can find it. "
