Pioneer's workflow on this mixer is made for prepping your next championship-level routines. The Magvel fader can be adjusted to modify curve and reverse, and it has shock-absorbing bumpers to stop accidental rebounds.

"This mixer is basically a controller for every serato function there ever was. The S9 saves you the price of a regular mixer, a better fader replacement(innofader), not one but two sound cards, and an extra midi controller for serato functions. To maximize capabilities in a DJ set this is the all in one. To make my set up more portable, i even used my pt01 turntable from numark with a 7' serato record when i dont want to carry my 1200s. My only gripes are the cut in time on the cross fader(takes longer then with serato records), the fader paint comes off easy and the top half of the faceplate is difficult to get off(if there is an issue) unless you know what you're doing. "
